Ronald Stith scored on an assist from Marcus Ragland for the team only goal against Oxon Hill. Ragland and Jeremiah Pace each had two goals in the first half against Glenarden. Kiran Williams made it a 5 0 lead in the second half on an assist from Jayln Shade. Parker Everheart scored an unassisted goal and then set up Stith, who scored Marlboro final goal. Chris Oliver and Noah Coleman led the way on defense in front of goalkeeper Donovan Neufville, who registered the shutout. The Marlboro Team 3 peewee football team played Fort Washington to a 6 6 tie last week. Quarterback Nicholas Malley scored Marlboro only touchdown in the first half. He carried 10 times for 110 yards and completed 1 of 3 passes for 10 yards to Elijah Dorsey. Malley had 12 stops on defense and Dorsey and Trevon Thompson each had eight. Isaiah Wright and Joshua Bush had seven tackles, Mikale Taylor added six, and Rashid Davis, Dekyrre Mitchell and Allen Bonner each had five. Mitchell and Bonner also had fumble recoveries. The Marlboro Avengers peewee football team earned an 18 6 victory in its season opener against Forestville. The Avengers needed only four plays to score on their first possession, getting a 35 yard touchdown run from Dhane Blair, with solid blocking from Tommie McKoy, Devin Morgan and Michael Coit. Forestville tied the game, but the Avengers defense was strong the rest of the way, led by Dorian Strong, Chantz Harley and Tyler Thomas. In the second half long run from Henry Peterson set up Marlboro second touchdown on a 30 yard touchdown run by Ryan Davis. DeMarco Lyles added the final touchdown on a 65 yard run. The Prince George Falcons Mitey Mites football team won its third game of the season with a 21 0 victory against Unity Thunder in Capital Beltway League action on Saturday. Running back Gerry Evans ran for 130 yards and touchdowns of 40, 30 and 50 yards. Anthony Morales, Horance Brown and Jaiden Riddick also contributed to the ground game for the Falcons. Zaire Farmer and Derrick Wheatley each had three quarterback sacks and Jaron Fernandors, Jesse Hooks, Justin Johnson, William Stoney and Darious Miles all made solid open field tackles. Josiah Canty, Kevin Randall, Luke Savoy and Hashim Ball anchored the offensive line. The Marlboro Hit Squad peewee football team dropped a 15 0 decision to the Glenarden Bulldogs on Sept. 13. Khaleel Milam, Daryl Riddick, Jayden Hogg, Jamaree Harper, Dallas Simmons and Elijah Ross ran for a combined 90 yards for Marlboro.
